BBRG is traveling to Evansville, IN next weekend, to take on the Demolition City Roller Derby girls! This will be our first bout of 2009, and it’s a double header! We have many new girls who will be bouting for the first time! We are really looking forward to the experience; come out and cheer us on!

When: May 16th

DOORS OPEN AT 5:30PM
1st BOUT AT 6:30PM
2nd BOUT AT 8:00PM

This is an all-ages event!
Food and DCRD merchandise will be on sale!
Alcohol sales for 21+!
Suicide seating for 18+! NO EXCEPTIONS.
*This event is a double header.

Dismembered December Tourney

On Saturday, December 13th, members of BBRG traveled to Evansville, IN to take part in a 4 Team Tournament. BBRG skated with the Quad State Terrors; a pickup team made up of girls from leagues in KY/IN/MI/OH.

The Quad State Terrors took the championship at the tournament! Check out an awesome recap and photos from Earl of Earl World.

This was The Quad State Terror’s first bout together. Look for great things from the QST in the future! Are you on a league in one of the Quad States and interested in playing with QST? Drop them a message!

Moonshiners start the season with a victory

The Black-n-Bluegrass Moonshiners were victorious in their Season Opener against Demolition City’s Dynamite Dolls! The final score was 113-76.

We’d like to thank Demolition City for making the trip to Florence, and playing one hell of a game! It was a pleasure to host you and we hope to see you on the track again soon!

Thanks also go out to all the neighboring leagues and volunteers who helped make this a huge success! We couldn’t have done it without your help! Special thanks to Collier Mama and Sadistic Sadie of The Cincinnati Rollergirls, for being our awesome announcers.

It’s Game Day!

After 1 1/2 years of recruiting, growing, and training hard, The Black-n-Bluegrass Rollergirls are excited to being their inaugural season tonight at Sportsville in Florence!

Its been a busy week in the media. Thursday, we were on ICN6′s Northern Kentucky Magazine. Did you catch us in The Enquirer yesterday? How about The Kentucky Post today? We’ve done our best to get the word out, and we hope it pays off tonight with a large, amped up crowd, ready to cheer us on to victory!

Join us as we host Evansville, Indiana’s Dynamite Dolls, in Northern Kentucky’s first all-female-flat-track Roller Derby bout!

Doors open at 6:30; Bout starts at 7:30. Tickets at the door ($12.00/kids under 12 free)

The Pickled Brothers Sideshow will be providing a crowd pleasing halftime entertainment show! We also have a rockin’ afterparty at Trifecta, with live music by The Frankl Project and Moxy Monster. Your ticket stub gets you in the door (21 and over)
